چکیده
Background. The appearing of data on cam-type FAI in patients with sequelae slipped capital femoral epiphysis characterized by mild chronic epiphyseal displacement suggests that along fixation the proximal epiphysis, modeling head-neck transition and restoration offsets using arthroscopic techniques should be performed. Meanwhile, it is well known after fixation, complete remodeling epimetaphysis and, consequently, disappearance morphological substrate potential can occur due to ongoing enchondral echondral growth. In this regard, issue indications for intraarticular interventions studied remains currently open. aim study was determine incidence postoperative period displacement, estimate requirement further surgical treatment. Methods. results examination 32 typical posterior inferior direction who underwent cannulated screw were analyzed severity presence period. Clinical, radiological, magnetic resonance, statistical methods used. Results. At age 18-19 years, pain syndrome everyday life found 9 (28.1%) 8 them did not have even partial component joint, another suffer from life, but had other clinical, radiological MR signs FAI. Complete or almost occurred 14 (43.8%) patients. Conclusion. our opinion, therapeutic diagnostic arthroscopy hip joint purpose at years indicated more than one quarter investigated because reliable

Gigantism associated with slipped capital femoral epiphysis.
The etiology of slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) is unknown, though hormonal as well as mechanical factors have been implicated. We report a case of gigantism who presented with SCFE. This case provides an insight into the genesis of SCFE, which in this case was related to growth hormone excess and sex-hormone deficiency.
متن کاملSurgical hip dislocation in treatment of slipped capital femoral epiphysis
BACKGROUND Most surgeons advocate in situ fixation of the slipped epiphysis with acceptance of any persistent deformity in the proximal femur [Aronsson DD, Loder RT, Breur GJ, Weinstein SL (2006) Slipped capital femoral epiphysis: current concepts. J Am Acad Orthop Surg 14, 666-679]. This residual deformity can lead to osteoarthritis due to femoroacetabular cam impingement (FAI) [Leunig M, Slon...

OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study was to evaluate the existing literature from 2005 to 2016 reporting on the efficacy of surgical management of patients with femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) secondary to slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE). METHODS The electronic databases MEDLINE, EMBASE, and PubMed were searched and screened in duplicate. Data such as patient demographics, surgica...

Slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SFCE) is a disorder of the hip, characterized by a displacement of the capital femoral epiphysis from the metaphysic through the femoral growth plate. The epiphysis slips posteriorly and inferiorly. SCFE occurs during puberty and metabolic and epidemiologic risk factors, such as obesity are frequently found. Most chronic slips are diagnosed late. Sagittal hip ...

SCFE is the most common hip abnormality in adolescence. The subsequent development and severity of degenerative changes is related to the degree of slippage and to delay in diagnosis. Awareness of this diagnostic possibility in the population at greatest risk and knowledge of subtle and early radiographic findings will allow prompt diagnosis and treatment of SCFE. Follow-up radiographic examina...
